Penang Free School Bicentenary Dinner 2016

Penang Free School was founded on 21st October 1816. Yes, 200 years ago. It was the oldest English school in Southeast Asia.

Today marks the 200th celebration of The Grand Old Lady. Our Alma Mater.

The bicentenary dinner was held on the PFS field with 500 tables and 5,000 Old Frees attendance.

It was great to be able to reunite with all Old Frees from my batch, my juniors and the seniors who came back from all over the globe just to be back with their Band of Brothers. Among them was my best friend, Mahadev "Dave" Singh and his Scottish wife. They had flown all the way from Glasgow, Scotland just to be here.

I won't write much as the joy I had during the event was quite hard to express in writing. Just enjoy the photos below.
