Ride to Tasik Raban

This is considered as an unofficial Old Frees ride. The ride consists of my fellow PFS batch of 1990. The ride was an idea of my friend, Abu Bakar Marican a.k.a. Ba.

After a simple plan, we managed to get 6 person with 4 motorcycles:
1. Ba on a SYM VTS200.
2. Anas Blue and his son on a Yamaha 135LC.
3. Fadzil Kanji and his wife on a Yamaha Y15ZR.
4. Myself on a Yamaha 135LC.

Initially it was raining in the morning. We decided to wait for a little while until the rain subsided.

10:50am
Our rendezvous point is at Sungai Bakap R&R. Upon reaching the RV point, Ba was the only person who had arrived, then Kanji came with his wife & followed by Blue with his son.

I just arrived.

Kanji & Wife arrived.

We had breakfast of nasi kandar bought by Ba from the famous Deen Jelutong.

We began our ride south through the North-South Expressway until Kuala Kangsar exit.

We stopped for Zuhr prayer at Masjid At-Taufiqiah, Kampung Chuar Hulu Kati, Kuala Kangsar.

We reached Tasik Raban and took some photos.

Overlooking is the bridge on the main road.

Had lunch at Restoran Tasik Raban. Lots of dishes until I had no idea what to put on my plate. hehehe

Fresh water grilled fish @ ikan bakar (ikan air tawar).

Reached a junction at Lenggong & took some photos.

 4:00pm
Took photos at Sumpitan waterfall in Lenggong

Caution: Wildlife Crossing

We rode on through Selama.

4:30pm
Refuel at a small gas station somewhere in Selama.

The toilet is clean with nice wall tiles :)

5:00pm
Reached Sungai Siputeh, Lata Rambong. Took a dip in the water. Awesome!
Felt like a kid again. hahaha!

6:00pm
We called it a day & rode back through Kulim.

7:00pm
Reached Kulim Hi-Tech Park and we rode back via Butterworth - Kulim Expressway to Seberang Jaya.

Thank you Ba and all my Frees brothers for making it happen, I really enjoyed it.
